Current offer terms

These conditions are an English translation, provided for your convenience. The French version is the legally binding one: read the current offer terms in French or English.

The principle in three sentences

The current offer gives a 40% discount on a Dangol service. In return, the travellers publish a review of their experience with Dangol. The discount is the same whether the review is positive, mixed or negative.

Article 1. Who can benefit

The offer is open to any traveller who gives the offer code in their request or in their reply to the quote, for as long as it is shown on our website.

• Only one discount per travel group, whatever the number of travellers in the group.
• The discount is guaranteed for 30 days from the date the quote marked “current offer” is sent: a payment received within that period benefits from it.
• The offer may end at any time. A quote already sent keeps its discount for 30 days, even if the offer has ended in the meantime.

Article 2. Which services

The discount applies to one service of your choice: itinerary check, tailor-made trip or on-site assistance. It applies to the price stated in the quote.

Combined with the $75 deduction of the itinerary check: no. If you use the current offer discount on a tailor-made trip, the $75 of an itinerary check are not deducted as well.

Article 3. How to use it

Give the offer code in your request (“Promo code” field of the form) or in your reply to the quote: DANGOL40. The quote then shows the price before the discount, the amount of the discount and the price to pay.

The terms of sale apply, including the 14-day right of withdrawal.

Article 4. Your commitment: publish a review

After your service ends, you publish a review of your experience with Dangol.

• Where: on our website dangol.me. You send us your review by email or on WhatsApp, and we publish it under the conditions of article 6.
• When: within 30 days after the service ends.
• What: what you really experienced, in your own words. There is no minimum length and no expected rating.

You have nothing to add to your review: we display the statement of what was received in return ourselves, as set out in article 6.

If you do not publish a review, we remind you once. We do not ask you to pay back the discount.

Article 5. Our commitments

• The discount does not depend on the content of your review.
• We do not ask you to change your review. We do not suggest any text.
• We do not delete or delay a negative review.
• We may reply publicly to your review, courteously.
• We publish no invented review and we write no review in place of a customer.

You do not have to authorise us to use your photo or testimonial to benefit from the offer. That is a separate, optional agreement.

Article 6. How we publish reviews on our website

This section applies to all reviews shown on dangol.me, whether or not they were obtained with the current offer.

• Checks: we only publish reviews from people who have paid for a Dangol service. We check this against our quotes and payments.
• Something in return: every review written under the current offer carries the statement “Review with something in return: a 40% discount given in return for a review, whatever it says.” The other reviews involved nothing in return.
• Dates: every review shows its publication date and the date of the service.
• Display order: from the most recent to the oldest. We do not highlight the best reviews.
• Refusal: we only refuse a review that contains insulting or illegal remarks, or personal information about a third party. We inform its author.
• Publication time: no more than 7 days after receipt.
• Display period: 3 years from publication.

As long as no real review has been published, our website shows no reviews.

Article 7. Your data

Your review, your first name and the initial of your surname are public. You can ask us to remove your review from our website at any time.
